Disneyland formerly known as Euro Disney Resort is an amusement and leisure park which was open in 1992. It is located 32 km (20 miles) east of Paris. Shows : Every day and evening, shows and parades with Disney characters are played in the park.
New in 2020 : The year 2020 begins with « Legends of the Force: A Star Wars Celebration » until March 15 and « The Snow Queen Celebration » until May 3.
New in 2019 : Lion King and Jungle Festival from July to September. The park is dressed in a festive jungle-coloured decor to welcome the heroes Simba, Timon, Pumbaa, but also Baloo and their friends. The end of the year will be marked by the arrival of a brand new show about The Lion King in the refurbished Chaparral Theater.
New in 2018 : Marvel heroes are celebrating this year with the Summer of Superheroes, see here, with many new features, including a new show called Marvel: The Alliance of Superheroes, which is interactive and features heroes such as Captain America, Spiderman and Iron Man. Other new shows are featured, it includes Stark Expo, Energy for Tomorrow and Dance with the Guardians of the Galaxy. On the attraction side, the Rock’n’Roller Coaster roller coaster has been redesigned to match the theme of Iron Man.
New in 2015 : from June 1st to September 13th, new musical production « La reine des neiges » and renovation of Space Mountain (which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year) and the Mystères du Nautilus.
New in 2014 : it’s Ratatatouille, an attraction, but also a restaurant and a shop in a fake historic Paris on the theme of the world of Remy, the young gourmet rat and crazy cook from the animated film « Ratatouille », in the heart of the restaurant « Chez Gusteau ». Discover Ratatouille here
New in 2012 : the Toy Story Playland at his Walt Disney Studios park. Imagined around the toy characters from the animated film Toy Story 3, the place offers three new attractions. The Green Soldiers will parachute tourists while the dog Zig Zag will take them on a caterpillar ride. Finally, the RC Racer Maximum Speed will take them on a 25-metre high U-shaped circuit.
Areas : Disneyland Paris is made up of two independent parks aka Disneyland Park and Disney Studios (you need two different tickets to visit the two parks).
Height and size restrictions : it depends on the attractions, but there’s something for all ages at Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Park: open from 10 am (with the « Extra Magic Moments » allowing earlier access for residents of some Diseny hotels) to 6.30 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm, 9 pm, 10 pm, 10.30 pm or 11 pm depending on the season. Walt Disney Studios: 11am to 6.30pm or 7.30pm. The two parks are open 365 days a year.
Adult ticket price : for an adult entrance, ticket 1 day / 1 park from 51 euros to 68 € here on the internet in advance, from 71 euros for 1 day / 2 parks. Internet rate only, more expensive at the cash desk (ticket prices valid until March 2020). Child ticket price : from 51 euros on the Internet. Free entry to Disneyland for children under the age of 3 (prices valid until March 2020).
if you can stay more than a day, don’t miss the 2 days / 2 parks ticket to fully enjoy the resort and attractions. Another tip: buy your tickets at least the day before, by internet, to get better prices!

Parking : if you come by day without staying in a hotel, plan around 30 €/day for a car and 45 €/day for a camper van. Otherwise, the car parks of Disney hotels are free. Note that a « Disney Parking + » service allows you to park as close as possible to the park, for around 45 €/day.
Don’t forget to use the « Fastpass ». This is a free service that offers quick access to the park’s most popular attractions, therefore reducing waiting time. You can get a Fastpass for an attraction by picking it up in advance at the desired attraction. But be careful not to stock up, you can only have one Fastpass at a time. To get another one, you must have used the previous one. Some other paying offers to avoid crowds are aslo sold on Disneyland website
